Update on EU trade mark reform
|
MARQUES’ EU Trademark Reform Task Force has published comments on the latest plans for European trade mark reform.
|
The comments on the Lithuanian Presidency Compromise Proposal and the JURI Report were published online on 14th January. They can be read and downloaded from the Task Force page on the MARQUES website.
The paper addresses various aspects of the reforms, including OHIM governance and the Office’s surplus, goods-in-transit, fees, administrative opposition and cancellation procedures, implementation of IP Translator, grace period of use and opposition procedure.
The EU Trademark Reform Task Force was formerly known as the Study Task Force.
