OHIM seminar on relative grounds

 

MARQUES has the opportunity for one member to attend a three-day seminar on Trade Marks: Relative Grounds (Intermediate Level) at OHIM in Alicante on 7th to 9th September 2015


The seminar will cover topics including the effective use of tools in opposition proceedings, proof of use, the relevant public and its level of attention, comparing goods and marks, assessing reputation, cancellation and appeal proceedings and mediation.

It is designed for trade mark professionals and experts from national offices with at least one year’s experience in trade mark law and practice.

The programme will combine presentations and workshops and also includes coffee and lunch breaks, a dinner on 8th September and social programme on 9th September. It starts at 10:00 on 7th September and finishes at 17:30 on the 9th, and lasts 16 hours in total.

If you would like to attend the seminar, please email Alessandra Romeo, MARQUES External Relations Officer, at aromeo@marques.org. Applications will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis, on the condition that the applicant is a MARQUES member in good standing.

Applicants will need to provide full personal details, a copy of an ID card or passport and indication of any dietary or other requirements. Transport and accommodation are not provided.
