In late July, the Madrid Registry launched marketing activities in India, through a National Seminar on Protecting your Brands Abroad under the Madrid System and presentation of International Registration Number 1.25 million to leading consumer electronics company, Micromax Informatics Limited. The events were covered by a number of national media outlets. A news item also appeared on the WIPO website. Further promotional activities are being planned in collaboration with Indian authorities.
