IP Key has recently updated the Roadmap on trade mark protection in China, taking into account recent changes in the legislation		MARQUES members are invited to participate in the forthcoming survey on enforcing IP rights in third countries, which launches on 1^st March

DG Trade has traditionally carried out a survey every two years in order to identify the difficulties encountered by EU entities in enforcing their IP rights in third countries. The results are used by the Commission in contact and negotiations with third countries when seeking better protection in those countries for EU entities’ IP rights. Since 2014 the Observatory has been responsible for carrying out the Survey. The Observatory collects the data but the analysis remains the responsibility of the Commission. This year’s survey will be launched on 1st March. It is an online survey open to all EU entities with interests in enforcing IP rights in third countries. The survey has been changed to give it a sharper focus and make it easier to complete. MARQUES will provide further updates on the website and social media once the survey is launched.
