The first meeting of the Network was held in June 2014. Taking into account the increase of fraudulent activities of scammers who continue sending out misleading invoices to users, EUIPO is convoking a second meeting, which will be held ahead of the Liaison meeting on Cooperation which takes place form 1st to 3rd March.

Members of the Network and User Associations are invited to attend.

MARQUES is a member of the Network and is very active in the fight against scam invoices. It has established an Anti-Fraud Task Force to address this issue. The Task Force is assisting the EUIPO and Swedish authorities in a criminal case against a large scam invoice operation (see MARQUES 2016 Achievements List)
