The Conference takes place in Alicante from 7 to 8 May 2018. Details are available on EUIPO’s website. On 29 March MARQUES hosted a webinar on Social Media and Marketplaces. The webinar provided an overview and case studies on strategies to protect IP rights in some social media and online marketplace platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Alibaba and Amazon), with a particular focus on the food industry. Also please note the following events have been announced: Mastering the Hague Agreement – the next edition of this seminar will take place in London on 18 June, just a few days after the UK joins the Hague Agreement.
