Mind the Brand!
Psychology of Brands
The Hilton Stadtpark Hotel
Am Stadtpark 1
1030 Wien, Austria
The theme of the MARQUES 29th Annual Conference is “Mind the Brand! Psychology of Brands”. Many of the sessions will address different aspects of this question, focusing on the legal issues and challenges of brand psychology. The conference will include discussions on issues such as advertising on the internet, the implementation of the new EC Customs regulation in 2014, as well as updates on OHIM, WIPO and European CEU Case Law.
Discover Vienna
Vienna is the Capital City of Austria with a population of approx. 1.8m. The city is host to many major
international organizations, including the United Nations and OPEC and in 2001, the city centre was designated
a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The city lies in the east of Austria and is close to the borders of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
These regions work together in a European Centrope border region.

Apart from being regarded as the "City of Music" because of its musical legacy, Vienna is also said to be “The City of Dreams” because it was home to the world’s first psycho-analyst – Sigmund Freud. The city’s roots lie in early Celtic and Roman settlements that transformed into a Medieval and Baroque city, the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It is well known for having played an essential role as a leading European music centre, from the great age of Viennese Classicism through the early part of the 20th century. The historic centre of Vienna is rich in architectural ensembles, including Baroque castles and gardens, and the late-19th-century Ringstrasse lined with grand buildings, monuments and parks.

We have secured accommodation in The Hilton Stadtpark and the Intercontinental Wien Hotel which is a short walk away. Accommodation at the conference hotel (The Hilton Stadtpark) will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis.

Subject to availability, special rates have been negotiated for delegates wishing to extend their stay either before or after the Conference. Rates quoted are inclusive of breakfast.

We are able to offer those delegates who choose to source their own accommodation or those who live
locally, modular participation in both the conference seminars and the social activities.

We have organised an exciting social programme and attendance at these functions is restricted to registered
delegates and registered partners only. Unfortunately we are unable to offer registrations for social functions only.
