Customs recordal in Kenya

 The MARQUES Anti-Counterfeiting and Parallel Trade Team has formed a sub-group to obtain clarification on the mandatory Customs recordal system that has been introduced in Kenya. The deadline of 1 January 2023 is the date on which IP rights have to be recorded to comply with the local legislation

The Spring Meeting will take place in Frankfurt on 2 and 3 March and the 37th Annual Conference will be in Berlin from 19 to 22 September. Further details will be announced in due course. The Corporate Focus Group will meet four times during the year. There will be webinar meetings on 16 March, 15 June and 16 November and an in-person meeting at the Annual Conference on 21 September. These meetings are open to MARQUES corporate members only, and they will be sent details by email. MARQUES also plans to host workshop on coexistence agreements, and a Judges Meeting during the year. More information will be published soon. The latest information on all MARQUES events, including links to registration, is on the MARQUES events page on the website.
