Seminar: On November 14, in Budapest, a seminar on Fighting IP Crime as a priority, organized in cooperation with the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, will take place. List of vendors: The EUIPO has issued a call for expressions of interest to compile a list of vendors who can provide independent and on-hand expertise on specialized services in the field of IP rights. This list will aim to assist the EUIPO in fostering IP cooperation in both EU and non-EU countries. Those of you interested will find more information here. External actions: The EUIPO is the implementing agency of different external actions in IPR co-funded by the European Union (EU). The IP Key and EU-Rok IPA are projects implemented in China, Latin America, and South Korea to support EU businesses. AfrIPI, CariPI, AL-INVEST Verde, and SCOPE IPR are projects implemented respectively in Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America (in particular, Mercosur countries), and Southeast Asia, focusing on IP and sustainable development. The preparation of the AWPs for next year will start soon. If you have views/suggestions on activities that could be included, please get in touch with maria@coralroslaes before 1 August 2024.
