WIPO is hosting a Madrid System Seminar at its headquarters in Geneva on 18th and 19th June.

The Madrid System website was updated in May, as part of a longer term project to ensure it meets the information and transactional requirements of users.

WIPO says the two-day seminar is aimed at current and potential users of the Madrid System wanting to improve practical skills in filing applications and managing registrations. This includes trade mark holders, agents, paralegals and IP professionals. The Seminar will include practical and interactive sessions, and one-to-one discussions with WIPO examiners will also be available on request. Full details are available on WIPO’s website. Registration is Sfr600, which includes seminar materials and lunch, morning and afternoon teas. Registration closes on 12th June.
