First man on the moon was a footballer - and he's trade marked
If you haven't been living behind the moon, you've probably realized that these days mark the 40th anniversary of the first man on the moon. And you have probably assumed that it was Neil Armstrong who took the giant leap for mankind. However, you are wrong. The first man on the moon was a football player - "Liber, the lunar football player", as can be clearly seen in the image above.
What's it got to do with trade marks? I kid you not, but the above image is registered as Community trade mark for clothing, games, drinks and others (no. 3359734). And the owner is not some whacko individual, but the Real Sociedad de Futbol. No, not those that run Real Madrid, but rather Real Sociedad based in San Sebastian.
