According to a circular from IP law specialists SD Petosevic, the launch date for the new Serbian .rs domain name country code will be on 10 January 2008. This ccTLD replaces the .yu (for Yugoslavia) ccTLD. The new regulations provide that foreign and domestic individuals and legal entities will be eligible to register an unlimited number of .rs domains in Serbia. Applications for .rs domains are already being accepted.
