Poland: Polish Post's problems
According to Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper, the Polish Post will change its logo.
The trumpet will be placed on the red
background. The stated owned company will have to paint over 4500
cars and 50000 post boxes
and equip all workers with new clothes. Only the new uniforms
will cost around 35 million PLN. Along
with the logo, the Polish Post will also change its offices - what will be another
400 million of expenditures. It is very strange move for some people
taking into account that in the years 2008 and 2009, the Polish Post
wrote down more than 200 million losses. What's more interesting,
although it can not cope with the competition, the Polish Post plans
to make a profit on its services in the next year.
