Dauno oil PDO "non-minor" amendment approved
Commission Implementing Regulation 23/2012 of 11 January 2012 approving a non-minor amendment to the specification for a name entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Dauno (PDO)) has now been published on the website of the Official Journal of the European Union. Dauno is an extra-virgin olive oil from Italy.

In keeping with normal practice this Implementing Regulation, while posted on the internet, has no hyperlink to either the original PDO specification for the product or to the details of the change in that original specification.
Class 46, which has mentioned this before, fervently hopes that the Official Journal practice will change and that hyperlinks will be provided in the future.
