Bulgaria e-filing for marks and designs now up-and-running
The e-filing of trade marks and designs applications in Bulgaria is now a reality, as of 18 November 2013. If you want to try the system out for yourself, applications can be filed to the following address: https://portal.bpo.bg/home. The interface has an English version too, but [and this is a BIG but unless you are a native Bulgarian speaker] it should be borne in mind that the filing of national trade marks and designs requires the use of Bulgarian language as per the Bulgarian Law on Trade Marks. So far, the system seems to be working. Let's hope it thrives.
