Norwegians say yes to '.no'
This blogpost has a great title, but sadly we can't claim credit for it. The news is great too, if you are excited about domain name registrations in Norway. Norid, the registry for ‘.no’ domain names, has announced that Norwegian individuals can now register ‘.no’ domain names as from 17 June 2014. Up till now, private individuals could only register domain names under the rather less attractive ‘.priv.no’ domain name extension.
This latest decision to allow Norwegian individuals to register ‘.no’ domain names seems to be another step by Norid to make ‘.no’ domains more widely available.
