IP Case Law Conference in Alicante
Class 46 readers may be interested in the IP Case Law Conference taking place in a hybrid format in Alicante on 7 and 8 July 2022. The theme is “25 years of the Boards of Appeal: Shaping New Horizons” .
It is organised by the EUIPO Boards of Appeal in cooperation with the EUIPO Academy and is the fourth edition of the conference.
The agenda has a sectoral approach covering areas such as health, fashion, environment, AI, automotive and food. The speakers will discuss challenges and developments in the case law and legislation.
As well as trade marks, the conference will cover designs, plant varieties, copyright, geographical indications, patents and related policy issues.
The event will be based on panel debates to encourage interactive discussions.
Speakers include IP lawyers, lawmakers, judges, academics and representatives of IP offices. Several members of MARQUES are taking part as moderators and panellists.
The conference is in English with simultaneous interpretation in French, German, Spanish and Italian.
