Latvia signs up for Singapore

By Singapore Notification No. 7, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has announced to the world that the Republic of Latvia has deposited an instrument of ratification of the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks. The date of entry into force of this Treaty will be notified when the required number of ratifications or accessions (ten) is reached in accordance with Article 28(2).

Class 46 notes that, of the seven countries that have signed up so far, five are from Europe: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Latvia, Romania and Switzerland. The other two are Kyrgyzstan and Singapore.
