Belgium: ADR tax to be reimbursed to successful complainants
The registrar for .be domain names announced that from 15 February 2009 on, its alternative dispute policy (ADR) will be costless for successful complainants.
The 1650 Euros tax for filing an ADR on Belgian ccTLD domain names shall then be reimbursed to the successful complainant and borne by the defendant.
Twenty six .be ADR complaints were lodged last year, and in 75% of them the complainant succeeded in obtainning the transfer of the domain name.
