WTO “GI register” for wines and spirits: the making-of, part II.
Intellectual Property Watch informs that the negotiations for setting up a multilateral geographical indications register for wines and spirits (see our Class 46 post of 4 February last here) are going slowly and that Members are put under high pressure to complete a negotiating text pulling together different earlier proposals, as part of a larger push to conclude the Doha Round discussions in 2011.
