Madrid in Dallas: a MARQUES perspective
If you are one of the many MARQUES members or supporters who will be in Dallas, Texas next month for the International Trademark Association Meeting. the 'MUSM' session for Madrid System users -- noted below -- might be particularly worthy of your attention.

MARQUES has long had a strong commitment to promote the trade mark and design protection systems administered by the Wolrld Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) through an active and continued participation to the activities of the several of its Working Groups.

MARQUES has always been a staunch supporter of harmonization and streamlining of practices and procedures which we need if we are to create and maintain a full balance between national, regional and international trade mark and design protection systems.  In this context, events like the Madrid System Users’ Meeting (MSUM) are therefore much appreciated.
