Farewell, Section 52
With the passing into law of the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill 2012-13, which apparently recieved the Royal Assent yesterday, Section 52 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act was abolished. Some newly created designs will therefore be protected for the full term of copyright rather than 25 years as at present.
