Albania makes Hague System Declaration
Thanks to WIPO for sharing the news that Albania has made a declaration under Article 17(3)(c) of the 1999 Act and Rule 36(2) of the Common Regulations specifying that that the maximum duration of protection for industrial designs in the country is 25 years.
The full declaration reads:
On October 11, 2017, the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) received from the General Directorate of Industrial Property (GDIP) of Albania, the declaration as required under Article 17(3)(c) of the Geneva (1999) Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs, and Rule 36(2) of the Common Regulations Under the 1999 Act and the 1960 Act of the Hague Agreement, specifying that the maximum duration of protection provided for by the legislation of Albania in respect of industrial designs is 25 years
