UNFAIR COMPETITION TEAM
The Unfair Competition Team brings together members from diverse countries, committed to addressing, studying, and combating unfair practices in the EU and globally.
Responsibilities/Mission:
Our mission is to provide valuable information on unfair competition practices, including copycats, lookalikes, and false claims. The Unfair Competition Team advocates for strong enforcement mechanisms and fair competition standards while fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders, policy makers and legal practitioners.
The Unfair Competition Team is carrying out an ongoing project on company names, trade names and other business identifiers in different jurisdictions. This page includes the Team’s comprehensive study, published in October 2019, as well as guides to the law in various jurisdictions written by Team members.
